The Delines - Mr. Luck and Ms. Doom

Recorded over much of 2023 and 2024. The Delines new album marks their most commercial album to date following the story of two ragged misfits: a failed criminal and a depressive house cleaner who somehow hit the lottery in meeting each other. With Mr. Luck and Ms. Doom, the heart of the record was found. Ragged couples on the run. Recording began at Bocce Studios, in Vancouver, Washington with longtime collaborator, John Morgan Askew. The song and the sound of the record were built around singer, Amy Boone’s voice, the lush production skills of Askew, and the horn and string arrangement by Delines keyboardist, Cory Gray.

Earlier 2022 the Delines released their heralded third record The Sea Drift which was featured in top twenty year-end polls across the EU and UK. It received number 1 in the UK (Americana UK, Uncut), plus top 20 in Uncut, Rolling Stone France, Volkstrant Holland and El Pais Spain (El Pais) With over 100,000 European records sold from The Delines and his former band, Richmond Fontaine, novelist and songwriter Willy Vlautin will have his six novel released as a Netflix movie in late 2025.
