Staff Picks

A few favourites from the racks this week: Brian Eno’s Here Come the Warm Jets mixes glam rock, art-pop and brilliantly strange studio experimentation; Apollo is one of his most beautiful ambient records, spacious, weightless and atmospheric; The Cure’s Three Imaginary Boys captures the band at their sparse, sharp-edged post-punk beginnings; and Erykah Badu’s Mama’s Gun is a warm, loose mix of neo-soul, jazz and funk, and one of her very best.
