Little Dark Age is the highly anticipated fourth album from indie rock and psychedelic trendsetters MGMT. Contrasting strong grooves and colourful synths with darkly humourous vignettes, the masters of reinvention are back just over 10 years after their iconic debut Oracular Spectacular (2007). Their first studio release in half a decade sees a return to long-time collaborator and producer Dave Fridmann (Flaming Lips, Spoon, Tame Impala) alongside Patrick Wimberly (Chairlift, Kelela, Blood Orange) and the result is stronger than ever before. Talking about the release, the band said “we felt like we had reached a flow, it was the sort of chemistry, the kind of magic feeling we had when we started the band."
