The Montreal group‰۪s 6^th is a more electronic affair than previous outings, with its backbone of arpeggiated vintage synths & fizzy drum machines.

at its heart the album is pure, perfect indie pop & recalls the sunshine songwriting of the unicorns, the former group of bandleader Nicholas Thornburn, & Seattle quartet the Postal Service. the songs still flirt with group‰۪s bread and butter; evergreens such as ennui, remorse, & a general disenchantment with the modern world hover over the tracks.
