The concept behind this album was research ethnologists made in the 1940's studying tribal collective dreaming. hassell uses this idea as a jumping off point to truly stretch the boundaries of music into what he calls "4th world music". the first couple of tracks are the most challenging but well worth staying with as the album progresses to an ethereal plateux where slight tribal vocal snatches are mixed with sublime water tablas to form a shimmering audio chimera.
